Experience
DFB Driver Inc. combines the extraordinary experience and
expertise of its two parent companies - DFB Group and the JV Driver
Group. Together, these companies have been operating for over 80
years and have engaged in a wide variety of manufacturing,
fabrication and construction projects and activities.
DFB Group, which initially began as E.F. Barnes in 1932, has over
70 years of experience in custom metal fabrication, manufacturing
and welding services. DFB Group comprises four other
subsidiaries which collectively employ approximately 400 skilled
and experienced management and personnel. Over DFB Group's recent
expansion, its companies have completed incredible projects such as
the construction of large fuel storage tanks and froth treatment
tanks in Alberta.
The JV Driver Group has provided construction and site support
services to numerous small to large-scale construction projects in
the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, forestry and mining sectors
- offering piping, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and
instrumentation services in Western Canada. The JV Driver Group
employs over 2000 people and has logged over 15 million labour
hours, while achieving 13 years of Lost Time Accident (LTA) free
